Strangely, there is a contents section but no page numbers which makes it hard to find things. Also no pictures at all – I prefer to be enticed by a pretty photo. I was also hoping to find some paleo suggestions for replacing carbs but you basically have a lot of meat or fish recipes on their own. I haven’t tried any of the recipes yet, but they sound quite tasty. I suspect this a new publishing method where Amazon print off to order and that the book is not properly designed and typeset.

A nice collection of no-nonsense recipes for people following the Paleo/Caveman/Primal way of eating, or for those who are gluten sensitive.

These recipes use fresh, natural, unprocessed foods – meat, poultry, eggs and fish, along with plenty of healthy vegetables and fruit, with the main emphasis being on meals that are more suited to English tastes, and can be easily found in local shops and supermarkets.

The meals are also easy to put together, so you don’t have to be the best cook in the world to be able to rustle up some tasty meals for your family.

I have recently started following the Paleo diet, and have a couple of recipe books already, but found them really difficult to convert to UK measurements. Its also quite hard to know what to substitute for some of the ingredients that you cannot get here in the UK, so this book is great for me!

I love pork and apples together, so the recipe for mustard pork and apples was especially delicious.

There are a lot of fish dishes in this book too, which you don’t seem to get many of in the American books. All good for the Omega 3′s! I like fish but never really knew how to cook with it, so these recipes are good too. Not too complicated either.
