Question by : Low carb diet info [Low carb only works! read on!]?
Hey, I’m Ana, and I’m 13, and I weigh around 124 lbs. and I’m 5’3”. My mom has told me over and over, that all I eat is junk and sugar, and I believe her. All these 13 years of junk, led to my belly. I’m very slim in my arms, and legs, but not my belly or thighs. Recently, my mom was diagnosed with diabetes, and that made her quit drinking cold turkey. She’s on a zero carb diet, and all she eats is steak, eggs, and rarely bacon. She only drinks water, and I’m very proud of her. She has lost around 40 lbs. since October. Yesterday, I was helping my mom practice her tarot cards, and asked, “How can I get rid of my stomach before my dance recital (June 17th)?” 3 cards came up. One, was a girl drinking lemonade, but, it was upside down. my mom said, “Stop drinking the sweets! Cut out the sugar!” The next one was, a bottle of syrup [upside down]. I’m serious. “Wow. Once again, cut out the sugar!” So, I’m starting my new diet today at lunchtime. I’m not doing low-carb, or zero-carb, i’m doing very-low-carb! I highly recommend you watch “Fat Head”. It’s a documentary by Tom Naughton, and it’s very humorous, and easy to understand. He’s doing a follow-up to “Super Size Me” but, he’s trying to prove the government wrong, and it works. It’s a MUST SEE if you’re doing Low-Fat or a.k.a. Weight Watchers. Heexplains the the only diet that works, is low carb. It’s kind of hard to explain, so you’ve gotta see it! He interviewed scientists and doctors, and they all had the same answer. But, the government makes them say the wrong things.
Another must-READ, is Trick and Treat, [I'm not sure who the author is] but it is about the medical industry, and my mom loved the book. Another great book is ” Good Calories Bad Calories” by Gary Taubes. He was mentioned in “Fat Head”, also.

You are a comedian! Only one thing, I am not one to stop anyone having a laugh but a low carb diet is very bad for diabetics. They need carbs to balance their insulin! I love the Tarot card of a girl drinking lemonade, it is near the beer drinking donkey!
